Zoning & Building

Attention:

Kidder Township is contracted with Building Inspection Underwriters of Pennsylvania, Inc. to issue all Township Building Permits and provide services such as review of plans and other construction documents, inspect construction, plumbing and mechanical inspections. Please be advised that BIU will not commence work on building permits until Kidder Township has first issued a zoning permit authorizing such work and shall not take any action until all fees are paid and all required documents are properly submitted.

    Township will hold a hearing at the Kidder Twp. Building, 10 Lake Harmony
    Road, Lake Harmony, Kidder Twp., Carbon County, PA, on Monday, June 26,
    2023, at 6:00PM, for the purpose of hearing the following matter:
    The is the application of New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co., Inc.(applicant),
    for a Special Exception under Section 180-17(G) of the Zoning Ordinance, to place

    This is the application of Lake Harmony Volunteer Fire Co., Inc (applicant),
    for a variance of Section 180-19, Sch. of Dev. Standards – Part 4 of the Zoning
    Ordinance, to place an electronic message sign at property located at 257 Lake
    Harmony Road, Lake Harmony, Carbon County, PA 18624, at a 15′ front setback,
    when a 30′ front setback is required, PIN #19C-21-A2,3 and is located in the VC
    Zoning District.
    This is the application of Chad McNelis (Applicant), for a variance for house
    construction of Section 180-19, Part 2 which requires a 40′ front setback from
