Zoning & Building

Attention:

Kidder Township is contracted with Building Inspection Underwriters of Pennsylvania, Inc. to issue all Township Building Permits and provide services such as review of plans and other construction documents, inspect construction, plumbing and mechanical inspections. Please be advised that BIU will not commence work on building permits until Kidder Township has first issued a zoning permit authorizing such work and shall not take any action until all fees are paid and all required documents are properly submitted.

NOTICE OF HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Zoning Hearing Board of Kidder
Township will hold a hearing at the Kidder Twp. Building, 10 Lake Harmony
Road, Lake Harmony, Kidder Twp., Carbon County, PA, on Monday, September
27, 2021, at 6:00PM, for the purpose of hearing the following matter:
1. This hearing is for appeal/application of Manuel Perez (Applicant),
seeking a variance of Section 180-19, Schedule of Standards, Part 2 – Standards of
Dwellings which require two 40′ set backs from both Beaver Run Road and
Tanglewood Drive. Applicant seeks a set back less than required. Applicant’s
property is located at 146 Tanglewood Drive, Holiday Pocono, Lake Harmony,
Carbon County, Pennsylvania. The property is Tax Parcel No. 21A-21-C25AHF
and is in the R-2 Zoning District.
All persons attending must wear a mask and social distance. If you are a
